The LS-1 is Wingoh's gelato-format dessert spoon — 75 mm long, 3.1 g rigid PS, with a wide flat-paddle head shaped like a miniature scoop. The geometry is borrowed from the classic Italian gelato spoon: enough surface to scrape hard ice cream out of a paper cup without flexing. Manufactured at our Tangerang FSSC 22000 plant since 1992.

Best for
- Gelato and frozen-yogurt brands in Australia and APAC — the flat-paddle head digs into hardened ice cream where round bowls slip and curl.
- Hotel buffet pudding stations plating panna cotta, mousse, or jelly in 80–150 ml cups.
- Premium parfait and dessert-cup retail — the 3.1 g weight reads as substantial in a tasting-size portion.
Material rationale
Rigid PS at 3.1 g is the right resin for a short scoop spoon: the paddle head needs to stay flat under load, not curl. Cheaper PP versions deform when pushed into −12°C gelato and lose their scoop geometry on the first bite. PS is also non-porous, so dairy fat does not soak in and cross-contaminate flavors between scoops on a tasting tray.
