Material rationale
The hinge is a single-piece live-hinge moulded into the lid — no glue, no metal pin, no failure point under fridge-to-room temperature cycling. PP food-grade is the only common food-contact resin that holds live-hinge flex through 1000+ open/close cycles without fatigue cracking. The 23 mm lid height matches our standard Cap Lid 90 mm, so cup-stacking workflow doesn't change when an operator upgrades from standard to anti-spill.
